Dating back to 1562 AD this lake also houses a monolithic 16-meter-tall statue of Lord Buddha standing atop the Gibraltar rock in the middle of the lake.

Today after breakfast, set out to explore the city in the earnest. Start by visiting Birla Mandir. Set on top of a small hill this amazing structure is made completely of white marble with ornate carvings decorating the different shrines. The proceed to the Snow world, India’s first and largest snow theme park. Next comes the Taramati Baradari with its enchanting tales of love between an Emperor and a local girl named Taramati, and Qutb Shahi Tombs built by various rulers of the said dynasty.
Finally, the tour will end at the Golconda Fort with an awe inspiring Light and sound show where you will learn about the history of the fort and how the city of Nawabs came to be. Post the tour, you will be taken back to the hotel for the night.

Then explore the gardens and the museum at the Chowmahalla Palace before going to Laad Bazaar for some shopping.
